British Airways

Transforming the British Airways experience across channels.

Whilst working on British Airways, my key account at Sapient, I managed and delivered small to medium projects with little or no oversight. I worked directly with the business by pitching new - and often provocative - ideas, building opportunities for new business. This included conversations about emerging technologies and experiences; chatbots, Amazon Alexa, personalisation and anticipatory design. I was also responsible for managing relationships with clients and agency-side stakeholders from a design perspective. Throughout my time working on these projects, the account enjoyed a period of steady growth and many recommendations of the team within the organisation.

Barclays Bank

Under NDA

At Barclays, I lead a small interdisciplinary project teams that tackle challenges and drive transformational leaps from within.

Since joining the team at the beginning of 2013, I have focused on creating the bank’s entrepreneurial proposition. This included gathering insights, crafting a mission, purpose and vision as well as well building specific products and services that met a set of identified needs.

The team is positioned at the group-level, meaning that we aren’t constrained to work with just one customer segment. Since joining in February 2013, I’ve had influence on projects within Mortgages, Wealth and Business banking and have collaborated with almost every other business unit at Barclays.

At Barclays, I've worked on several innovative projects, many of which I can't talk about. Through this work I have learned how to deliver products to market, communicate original ideas and help others from across the business to contribute in new ways and discover a set of creative skills that had been overlooked.

Most recently, I have been part of an internal team that created a new product that was accepted into the Barclays Accelerator, a 13-week intensive program designed to grow early stage businesses. During the 3-month program run by Techstars, we acted as a start-up - working at a cost and pace that’s difficult to replicate internally.

Mother London

3 months helping to shape campaigns for Boots & Ikea

During my 3 months at Mother London I worked on a series of diverse and challenging projects. Through my role in the Creative Team, I produced commercials and helped shape campaigns across various forms of media for clients including Boots, Stella Artois and Ikea (above). The many different projects that I worked on a taught me news ways of creating and effectively communicating ideas to different types of audiences and customers by applying control brand positioning and targeted communication and outreach.
